The Aktionsbündnis Patient Safety eV (APS) awarded the German Prize for Patient Safety on September 7th in Essen. With the project “Digitally supported family doctor medication management for outpatients with polypharmacy” 1st place went to the team from BARMER, AOK-Nordost, Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Westphalia-Lippe, German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM) and RpDoc® Solutions GmbH. It has been shown that the dangers of polypharmacy can be prevented through digitally supported solutions.
