Erfurt – Representatives of the CDU, BSW and SPD have been negotiating for almost three months, and a coalition agreement has now been reached. If party committees and members agree, the paper will form the basis for a future state government.
In the area of social affairs and health, the future coalition partners state that general practitioners and certain specialists as well as pharmacies should not be more than 20 minutes’ drive from home. To achieve this, the CDU, BSW and SPD want to recruit more doctors and specialists in the health sector.
There should also be more study places. If gaps in care are specifically identified, the Thuringia Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians would like to “actively support the search for solutions for unoccupied doctor’s seats”.
A “more efficient use of medical capacities by reducing bureaucracy and optimizing standards” should also help. Multiple statistics, reporting and documentation requirements should be abolished and the state regulations should be specifically taken into account.
Regarding hospitals, it is said that comprehensive care will be ensured “by maintaining all hospital locations as places of medical care and adapting emergency service planning accordingly.”
Hospitals would have to be developed much more strongly than before into efficient, specialized locations with graduated care offerings, supra-regional focuses and close regional networking. The state hospital plan should be revised “quickly”.
Accompanying the hospital planning, a so-called master plan for ground-based rescue services, air rescue and intensive care transfer services is to be drawn up.
In terms of care, the three parties want to set up an online appointment booking service for short-term and preventive care as well as long-term care places. In addition, non-medical health professions are to be upgraded and, for example, community health nurses are to be introduced.
At the state and federal level, the Blackberry Coalition is striving for improvements for people with low pensions. “We are committed to the basic pension system in Germany,” it says in the contract. A working group is to develop a proposal to introduce a state subsidy for basic pensioners.
When it comes to the environment, an action plan to revitalize the stream and river floodplains is to be launched. “We are committed to the Paris Climate Protection Agreement and will revise the Thuringian Climate Protection Act,” says the coalition agreement.
The possible blackberry coalition also wants to create an “enabling culture,” the three parties write in their contract. Keywords are de-bureaucratization, digitalization and an “investment-friendly basic climate”. © dpa/EB/aha/aerzteblatt.de
