Online survey by RKI and BfArM
for all doctors and dentists,
who occasionally or regularly prescribe antibiotics

In Germany, more than 27.8 million prescriptions for systemic antibiotics were issued for patients with statutory health insurance in the outpatient sector in 2022. Inpatients, 25% of all patients receive at least one antibiotic.

Keeping track of treatment recommendations and the current resistance situation in daily practice is a challenge.

The Robert Koch Institute and the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices would like to obtain an overview of the practice of antibiotic prescriptions in the various medical disciplines and have designed a short online survey for this purpose.

Please take 8 minutes and help us to identify possible structural weaknesses in the area of ​​tension between resistance data, specialist information, recommendations and current practice and thus help to shape possible solutions.
